Lecture: Image Processing

Recently, the demand for car-mounted cameras is increasing in order to achieve safe and secure driving. This Image Processing lecture provides students with the opportunity to understand what an image is as primary knowledge, image expression (color representation, image conversion, image enhancement, edge extraction and time-varying image processing). It also provides an outline of image compression techniques: JPEG and MPEG as the major application for image information processing.
