Visually Guided Autonomous Grasping by Robot Hand
Demonstration movie of visually guided autonomous grasping by a robot hand, which is used in @home service robot manufacturing practicum. This arm/hand control technique was developed by a 2014 international internship student, Ludovic Hofer from IPB/ENSEIRB-MATMECA, Bordeaux, France.

The team “Hibikino Musashi” mainly by the students of the Graduate School of Life Science and Systems Engineering, Kyushu Institute of Technology, has been winning 1st prize for five consecutive years in the Robo Cup Middle-sized League, Japan Open. We plan to utilize this autonomous moving robot technology for the comprehensive practicum conducted in the joint graduate school.
