Learn Thermodynamic Evaluation: Engine and Fuel Battery Performance

The University of Kitakyushu

Graduate School of Environmental Engineering

Professor

Masaaki Izumi

Lecture: Advanced Thermodynamics

Students can learn methods of thermodynamic evaluation of thermal engines (e.g. gasoline/diesel engine), which are heavily used as motors for automobiles, in addition to fuel batteries expected for future motors. Not only in classroom lectures, but also though a number of driving experiments with real equipment, students learn these output characteristics.

Adopt Processing Systems Response to Environmental Changes

The University of Kitakyushu

Graduate School of Environmental Engineering

Associate Professor

Lianming Sun

Lecture: Adaptive Signal Processing

Adaptive signal processing is becoming an important technology, making real-time adjustments for processing systems depending on signal characteristics and environmental changes. Students can gain a further understanding of actual use for practical techniques about system design through numerical simulations, learning essential algorithms of adaptive signal processing.
